VCR ALERT! - TODAY, July 24 - VH1 & WGN networks!

TODAY, July 24 is going to be a busy day for Shania fans.

On that date, Shania is going to be on both the WGN network and the VH1 network.

This is what I'm talking about:

1. On the 1st appearance, Shania can be seen on the WGN network in the 7th inning of the Chicago Cubs baseball game when she sings "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."

Shania is also said to be throwing out the First Pitch of the game! Be sure to tune in early to see if she also throws out the First Pitch.


2. Shania's 2nd appearance that same day will be on VH1. VH1 is running a special Series with the aid of People magazine where they showcase the "200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons."

The "Icons" list features a list of celebrities from music, movies, sports, and television that made VH1 and PEOPLE magazine's list of the "200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons."

Shania came in at # 98 on the list. (Shania placed Higher than Aretha Franklin, David Letterman, Garth Brooks, Sting, and other famous people.)

The "Icons" special will air in a Series of shows that count down the top "Icons" on the list. The show that Shania is featured on will air on VH1 on July 24.

So, set those VCRs. :)

I know how you feel. I don't get WGN.

The irony is that I do get the FOX network and just the other week their "Game of the Week" was a Chicago Cubs game. Of course FOX doesn't have the Cubs game when Shania is on it. :roll: Just my luck. :evil: :(

Just a reminder that TODAY is the day that both of these shows/specials will air.

Shania is supposed to throw out the First Pitch of the CUBS game and sing "Take Me Out To the Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch.

Plus, there is the VH1 "Icons" special to watch.
