VCR ALERT - "Extra," "ET", & MORE!

Shania will be featured TODAY, Wednesday, on Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and Extra.

For Access Hollywood, Nancy O'Dell, an anchor/reporter for the show, did a Sit-Down interview with Shania while Shania was at the Chicago Cubs game last week.

That interview and footage of Shania throwing out the first pitch of the Cubs game will be shown TODAY, Wednesday.

I was just informated that Shania is supposed to be on "Extra" and "Entertainment Tonight" TODAY, Wednesday.

I don't know exactly why she's on there, but I think it has something to do with her NBC special.

The official Entertainment Tonight website had this to say:

July 30, 2003 | SHANIA TWAIN admitted that while she didn't have too much trouble losing weight after her son EJA was born two years ago, she did get cellulite "like half the women in the world." But from how she looks now, that must have been temporary. Shania is fit and raring to go for her TV concert, airing Aug. 19 on NBC. "The biggest thrill for me was getting back on the concert stage after three-and-a-half years," she said. And while she loves sharing herself through her music, Shania says her fans may also see her on the big screen someday.

Shania's "Extra" segment aired at the Beginning of the show.

This is a report on what was said on the show:

Shania says her fans "know that I like to keep my private life, private. They respect that."

Shania also said that the reason she did the Special (which they Plugged for Aug. 19 in the segment) was because she realized she would Not have her TOUR ready until the "End of September" (Shania's Eyes got BIG when she said that)...she said she was NOT going to go through the Summer Without being on stage.

So, Shania chose to do the special.

"Extra" played the beginning part of the "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" video where Shania says "Don't Want Ya for the weekend" and then the "Extra" anchor did a Voice Over that said: "....but she does want you for the night of August 19 for her 2 hour NBC concert special."


The actual Extra segment on Shania was MUCH Better than what I just described.

how come we weren't informed of these shows earlier????? like access hollywood we were told yesterday...but not the others. and i hardly ever watch Extra and just happened to today and so glad i did!!!!! i'll have to catch ET when it airs again at 12 am!!! :D

I didn't know about the other 2 appearances on "ET" and "Extra" until today.

"Entertainment Tonight" does not update their site about what's coming on the show until the day of the show.

The information about Shania being on Entertainment Tonight wasn't posted on their site until about AfterNoon time TODAY.

The only reason I knew about the "Access Hollywood" appearance was because I just happened to catch the last 2 minutes of Tuesday's show. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known about Shania's appearance on today's show.

The sites just aren't updated until the day of the show. It's a pain in the rear end but that's how the sites work.
